Our Mission

Spotlight was founded through a belief and a passion that people are at the heart of every business.  Shining a light on your people and providing them with the training and tools to do their jobs means they are more likely to be motivated and engaged at work.  This can lead to a reduction in turnover and a deepening of knowledge and experience - a commercial 'game changer' for small and big businesses alike.

About Spotlight’s Founder, Helen Moore

Helen is a fully qualified CIPD HR professional with an HR career spanning over 20 years in retail, leisure and hospitality, working for some of the UK’s largest blue-chip organisations such as Marks & Spencer and Whitbread. Helen has worked with and supported boards, business owners and senior management teams in the delivery of commercial objectives, through marrying practical people plans to clear outcomes.   Helen says, ‘My passion is in helping individuals and business owners to make great people decisions. HR is often seen as being a barrier to commercial success…my mission is to change this mindset and approach to HR so that people are at the heart of business decisions.
